Review: I had been searching for a pair of these for quite some time, sold out in my size, 45 everywhere. A very popular shoe and now I know why. They sounded great but they die exactly what I need, a winter, 100% waterproof MTB shoe that has the off bike grip to get me up a steep slippery bank while pushing my bike. The fact that the waterproof membrane behind the sustainable and ethical leather is made from recycled material is also a massive bonus for an environmentally conscious shopper. The water just flys off them like they are a hot frying pan, just with out the noise and steam. They look great and the fit great for my flat but narrow feet. Not actually tried them on the bike yet, hope they ain’t shit. I got lucky by checking back on Amazon for a pair, out of nowhere there was a pair in my size, they took a while to get through customs but only because of brexshit. Very happy with my purchase, expensive but probably worth it.

Review: Dieses Produkt hat in meinem Alltag als bike messenger nicht lange gehalten. Die Schnürung ist bei den Plastikteilen während des Pedalierens gebrochen. Es ist unklar, warum an den Stresspunkten dieses wenig haltbare Material genutzt wurde. Nun hat Vaude eine Reklamation und wegen 10 Cent ist das Paar Schuhe unbrauchbar! Zudem stellte sich heraus, dass im Vorfussbereich zu wenig Platz herrscht. Es gibt zwar eine Schnürung, diese ist aber nicht funktional, weil schon mit meinen schmalen Füssen die maximal weite Schnürung eingestellt ist, damit ich überhaupt hineinkomme. Meine Frau hat sogar leicht breitere Füsse im Vorfuss bzw. Ballenbereich und kommt sehr schlecht in den Schuh. Dazu hat der Schuh nicht genug Raum im Spann-Bereich und die Höhe von Sohle zu Decke im Vorfussbereich ist auch zu eng. Insgesamt ist an dem Schuh viel Material verbaut, aber mit sehr schlechter Ergonomie. Ich weiss nicht, wie erst richtig normal breite Männerfüsse (ich habe Gr. 44 und einen sehr schmalen Leisten mit hohem Spann) in die Schuhe passen sollen? Ich dachte, dass sich das im Laufe der Zeit etwas weitet, aber das ist nicht der Fall. Ich ziehe diese Schuhe nicht mehr gerne an, weil ich schnell taube schmerzenden Füsse bekomme, ab einem halben Tag Arbeit auf dem bike. Ich habe nun billigere wesentlich bequemere Schuhe bei einem französischen Kaufhaus gekauft, die einfach nur himmlisch sind im Vergleich und das bei einem Drittel des Preises. Ich empfehle dieses enttäuschende Produkt nicht.
