Review: I've been really impressed by this seat. It is solidly built and can be easily fixed and removed from the bike with a simple button press. An attachment is fixed to the rear frame and the seat then clips into this. It was incredibly easy to assemble initially. The attachment is then left attached when the seat removed. It's a little wide but hasn't interfered with my cycling at all (I have a road bike). The seat itself is solid and I certainly haven't noticed any wobble when attached and my son seated. He's currently around 11kg or so and there appears to be plenty of room for growth. The seat seems very comfortable for him but the padding was a little less than I expected. My son seems very content watching the world go by from the seat though and the straps have meant I'm confident he's secure. I've seen versions that cost considerably more, but this has been ideal and I'd highly recommend it. If you are utilising it more frequently however, it might be worth considering one with a little more padding for comfort on those longer/regular cycles.

Review: A bit too ‘plasticky’ to me when it arrived. Some edges of the seat weren’t smooth. It’s cheaper than other brands and it did feel like it. I think the screws should be designed to be fastened on the opposite side not facing the rear wheel as it’s impractical when re-adjusting. Having said that, my daughter didn’t complain, it didn’t look like her neck or shoulder got sore after a 30-40 ride. I’m only 5’6” and using a small/med e-bike so my seAt is lowered down and it is just about too close to my daughters- I think they should have made attachment to the frame/tube a bit longer . I have yet to see whether there’s issues on its sturdiness, first ride was good.
