The Snake Handlebar: If you are very spinally flexible (far less than 90 degrees between your straight legs and your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders' width apart), you are a Snake. You are better able to reach further and get down lower to use the full radius of more rounded, classic-style, deeper-drop handlebars. You will prefer the Snake Handlebar because it has a longer reach (80mm on the 400mm bar and 85mm on the 420mm and 440mm) and deeper, classic-style drop (130mm on 400mm bar, 135mm on 420mm and 140mm on the 440mm bars). The Chameleon Handlebar: If you have an intermediate degree of spinal flexibility (approximately 90 degrees between your straight legs and your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders' width apart), you are a chameleon. You are better able to reach further, but perhaps you can't get down quite as low on the handlebar drops as a Snake would be able to. You will prefer the Chameleon Handlebar because it has a longer reach (80mm on the 400mm bar and 85mm on the 420mm and 440mm) but a shallower, more ergonomic-style drop (130mm on the 400mm bar and 135mm on the 420mm and 440mm). The Bull Handlebar: If you have a relatively low degree of spinal flexibility (more than 90 degrees between your straight legs and back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders' width apart), you are a Bull. You will not be able to reach as far or bend as low as a Snake or a Chameleon would be able to. You will prefer the Bull Handlebar because it has a shorter reach (75mm on the 400mm bar and 80mm on the 420mm and 440mm) and a shallower, more ergonomic-style handlebar drop (125mm on the 400mm bar and 130mm on the 420mm and 440mm).
