Review: Really good guards with a wide variety of fittings that should fit most bicycles. I am using these with 700 X 42C continental road contact tyres and clearance is limited on the front wheel, perhaps different forks would allow more clearance. There is plenty of clearance between the stays and the disc brake calipers. Very happy with my purchase.

Review: When I initially fitted these on my bike, they were totally unusable as they rubbed the tyres HARD. The brackets that the bolts go through have a slot in them to allow height adjustment, and I couldn't raise them higher. But there was space above the actual guards to go higher, just the slot was drilled far shorter than it needed to be. After struggling and struggling, I took them off and got my drill out and by putting it in the hole and a little downward pressure, extended the slots. Eventually managed to fit them with no rub with the extender slot range. But many people would not have a drill or confidence to try that? So.. I dunno. The mudguards themself seem good quality but I cannot understand how or why a manufacturer would ship something with the mounting bracket to have limited range when it doesn't need to be, such that there is space left ABOVE when fitted that forces them down to rub on the tyres? I feel I have to say this (and give a solution for those with drills!) as it took far longer to install than it should have, and I don't like to see bad engineering design :)
