Review: Shipping could not have been faster! Thank you! This is my 5th ISM saddle. I've nothing negative to say about them. Eventually they wear out like anything else and you get a new one. Fwiw, these saddles are designed to be used and installed at a slight angle slopping down toward the front. You should be settling your bottom down leaning against a slightly angled surface and not sitting on top of this horizontally. I won't put any other saddle on my bicycles.

Review: I'd been doing a number of longer rides (6+ hours), and my traditional saddle was getting pretty uncomfortable. I have friends who rave about these saddles, so I thought I'd give it a try. I rode on it for one month, including a segment of nine consecutive days, ranging from 1-3 hours in the saddle each day. My initial impression was that the design had potential. I could see how this saddle could be very comfortable. However, it never became comfortable for me. It didn't improve with use. It only got worse, to the point where it seemed my only riding options were to have the tips of the saddle jabbing my groin on every stroke, or sitting so far forward that I was only using a small fraction of the saddle, which left a feeling of instability. Either position was accompanied by an undesirable rubbing (Yes, I use chamois cream. This isn't my first rodeo). The fabric on top of the saddle is high friction, contributing to the rubbing, and meaning I couldn't slide on and off when standing to climb. Every time I'd attempt to sit back down, the fabric would grab my shorts, and then I'd spend the next 10-15 seconds trying to shuffle around and get back into position. Eventually, I thought that whatever pain I'd had on my previous saddle couldn't have been as bad as this. I was correct. I switched back and found the traditional saddle to have a smooth, elegant, feel. ISM might work for others, but failed here.
