Review: This seat clamp mount is a good piece of equipment, and has enabled me to attach a pannier rack without pre-drilled holes. Its sturdy and easy to use and install. It could do with having adjustable rubber strips with it to ensure it fits different widths of bike frames. I had a problem with my bike frame when attaching it, as my bike frame (one of Halfords cheaper ones) has a built in seat-clamp, therefore I had to use a rubber strip from a rear light fitting to make it fit onto my seat post instead. This is something I should have noticed before hand, but it was possible to fit it to the seat post instead, using the rubber strip and tightening it as far as it would go. My pannier rack is secure and this holds well; I've used the rack to carry heavy weekly shopping and this mount hasn't slipped or come loose.
