Review: I don't usually write reviews, but this product has inspired me to do just that. I've always been an Optimum Nutrition purchaser, but questioned why I was spending £40 a month on 1.8kg when I could get 2k for just over £20 from USN. I thought to myself, sure it may not taste as good but for half the price it would be worth a little sacrifice.. I was so wrong. If you like the consistency of lumpy custard and the taste of gone off chocolate, you'll love this product. In all seriousness, I don't understand how anyone can honestly say they don't have an issue with this product - perhaps they're all using industrial blenders, but for the average person who doesn't have access to such heavy duty equipment, it's impossible to get this to mix. The recommended serving is 3 scoops, with the scoop being the size of a clenched fist, it's no wonder people get through 2k of the stuff so fast. I couldn't mix the product with one scoop, milk or water, so how anyone manages with 3 scoops is beyond belief. I've spent 5 minutes shaking the product with a half water/half milk mix to try and thin it out. I've also got one of the metal balls that helps break up the powder within the shaker, yet after multiple attempts, I still ended up swallowing more lumpy powder than smooth liquid. I thought "just get it down you, do it quick and it'll be alright" but it's just not possible. Stay as far away from this product as you can and stick with more premium, better rated brands with much higher quality control. Maybe I had a bad batch, but the returns policy is so hilarious that you can only return the product if it's un-opened and in its original packaging with seals unbroken. Essentially that means you have to spend your hard earned money on this poor product, open it up, realise it doesn't do what its designed to do, and then realise you can't send it back because you've opened it, which is the one thing you have to do to realise it isn't fit for purpose. A flawed system if you ask me. What if I opened up the protein powder, and it had crystallised or had gone off, or had a really strange smell? I wouldn't be able to return it because i'd opened it.. which is what anyone would have to do in the first place to realise it was bad. Funnily enough theres no 'contact seller' option either. Poor product, poor quality control, poor customer service by lack of contact details. Stay clear, stick with better brands.
