THE OCCAM LT Occam LT is the wider side of the Occam thanks to more aggressive geometry, FOX 36 suspension forks and 10mm more travel front and rear. The Occam LT is hugely capable but also more versatile than a full on enduro bike with efficent pedalling for all day riding. Striking the perfect balance between its pedalling efficiency and overall lightweight agility combined with its modern geometry and uper smooth suspension performance. Riders love its aesthetics with the asymmetric design. Its a bike with serious game and pedigree with fast and funderous speed in it's backbone. The Occam is now lighter and simpler, thanks to savings from complex yokes and additional pivot axles and hardware. Now stiffer through an updated design of moving the pivot to the rear axle, increasing precission and handling and better braking performance with significantly reduced feedback under rough terrain. ONE OCCAM.TWO VARIATIONS. With mountain bikes reaching bigger summits and descending lines before unthinkable, what we are seeing is a wide range of different OCCAM users. On one hand we see all round users and adventure riders who want the Occam for epic rides and value the climbing efficiency and light weight combined with the confidence the geometry and suspension offers for the descents. On the other hand we see other users who value the descending ability of the Occam above all and are using the bike in a much more aggressive way and value the nimble, fun descending characteristics of the bike. For these reasons we are going to offer two versions of the Occam, the standard Occam and the Occam LT.ORBEA OCCAM FRAME HIGHLIGHTS Orbea have given the Occam a new two-part linkage design. Fewer pieces mean fewer interfaces. Resulting in greater rigidity and stifness with drasticaly lower chances of something working loose through miles of off road mountain trail abuse. With an Asymmetrical rear shock design, the Occam offsets the rear shock to the left side of the frame, providing ample amounts of super plush suspension travel over the less efficent shock tunnel design. YOUR SUSPENSION. YOUR WAY. Today's modern trail bikes are used for an impressive variety of terrain and need to be adaptable. The Occam is designed to work well with both 140mm or 150mm of front and rear suspension travel, the progressive rear suspension works well both, with either an air or a coil shock.
