Review: I had Schwalbe Marathon + on my last bike and they are bombproof. I wanted a similar level of protection that rolled better for a cheap road bike that I bought to thrash about on (TBH a trifle would roll better than Marathon +) so I researched the hell out of what rubber to buy. I looked at Gatorskins, Armadillos, Durano +, Marathon Supreme, etc, etc, etc. I settled on the RiBMo's in a 28 and definitely made the right choice. They are tough as hell and roll quite well. When I move to new rubber the tire has to win me over and inspire confidence and the RiBMo's did that from the 1st turn of the pedals. They’re a bit difficult to get on the 1st time but are far easier on subsequent occasions. I’m 200 lbs and popped them to 100 psi after trying them @ 90 for a while. They are the perfect trade-off between toughness, speed and grip. Some have reported skittishness in the wet and that is not the case in my experience. I’ve not taken them off-road but then they’re not designed for that. Kerbs, debris, crap roads they are brilliant. I love my RiBMo’s.
