Review: About the delivery: The item came in an envelope and the box was squashed upon delivery but that’s OK, it’s only a rubber inner tube. Amazon Prime delivery was fast as usual. I paid £6.49 which was a tad expensive. About the item: I thought that Schwalbe is a solid brand but it seems not the case any more. At least for the inner tubes as the quality of them went downhill that is for sure. My bike (2015 German Cube) came equipped with Schwalbe tyres and inner tubes that are of great quality. The painted markings are clear and the embossed specs are sharp and easily readable. The tyres are still fine and I only had this one puncture now in 7 years. The original inner tubes I have are Schwalbe AV17A Light that are not available any more. They were made in Indonesia. Those ‘new’ made in Vietnam inner tubes look like cheap knock off's. The appearance is awful, like the items after the warehouse flood. They are sticky out of the box without the usual powder (talc). The painted markings are smudged and the embossed specs are barely readable. Before installing I inflated the tube for the test. The quality is shocking. The tube is not evenly made so there is a large bulge. The inner tube is not even round and does not hold the circle shape. I made some pictures that are attached. The difference is noticeable.
