Review: Great tyre on first impressions. Tough to get onto carbon rim but seated first time. Seems like a super sticky tyre. Much more than the non-pro version. Time will tell no its anti-puncture properties.

Review: First of all, this is my tire of choice. Great traction with low rolling resistance. Very supple ride, best I have found. The rubber on this tire can last a long time on the front. The rear not as much. I think the front would go 8000 or 10000 miles if you don't hit anything. On the rear maybe 4,000. Depending on where you ride and how much you pay attention you might not get that far. I think I lose about half of these to damage before they wear out. If you run over a drywall screw, or even some light broken glass these tires cut fairly easily. More so than say a GP 5000, But these have a better ride. I would not recommend them for urban areas where the roads are not well maintained. I use them in a suburban area where the bike lanes are mostly swept but it sucks to thrown away a brand new tire because you had an unlucky encounter with somebody's discarded beer bottle. It happens. I have never had one of these tires fail for no reason. They are pretty good with rocks unless you hit a very sharp one on the sidewall. BTW I got a lot fewer flats when I finally got some excellent prescription progressive Oakley glasses. It helps when you see it before you hit it, however they are expensive enough to make you pay attention. If that's too much trouble for you I'd recommend a different tire.
