Review: First, I'm not a racer. Wish I could tell you how they perform in center of pack at 30 mph. Sadly, were I to enter a race, I would wind up riding like I always do. As hard as I can...and (mostly) by myself. I am, however, an older rider who trains with intent (as fast as possible, as long as possible) in the 8 - 10 hours per week range in nice weather, and 2 - 4 hours per week in the crud. They've been mounted on an old Reynold's aluminum wheelset, DT Swiss PRC 1400 weelset, and a Cascadia Wheels 40mm deep carbon wheelset. I've used these in a variety of conditions, particularly in heavy PNW rain. I've also used with, and without, tubes. From a performance perspective, I've never found a condition I didn't feel these were well suited to handle. They are as durable as anything I've ridden. When running tubeless, and if I didn't screw it up, they work great. From a comfort perspective, these were an improvement when I installed them on my aluminum rims...probably the best litmus test. On two different carbon wheelsets, I've preferred the comfort of these over the likes of top end Conti's and Michelin's I've used in the past. Installation of TLE tires isn't a ton of fun until you get the hang of it. I found these to be on the easier end of tires to install. Beads seat into the rims well (unless I screwed it up as alluded to above). Relative to other options, I feel like these represent great value. They also look sharp.

Review: A good tire and certainly better than the Schwalbe One it replaces. Fit and finish out of the box is greatly improved over the Schwalbe One and the compound feels very supple and sticky. Mounting was probably the easiest I've ever experienced as the tire snapped right on with next to no effort. Over a few hundred miles so far, the Pro One is holding up well with no nicks, cuts or flats. I had to dial back the pressure somewhat as it's a harder riding tire than the Vittoria Corsa it replaced. I did 10 PSI less and now it's much smoother. Here's why I can't give five stars. In two instances of high(er) speed cornering the back tire seemed to skid and slip somewhat. This was on smooth, dry asphalt with no road debris so it wasn't the conditions. Not enough slip to be scary but it was noticed just the same. Overall: Recommended, especially for the ease of mounting and durability. Schwalbe makes a very good tire, even though you're not likely to see another set on the club ride.
