Review: I have to say, I think this stuff is unnecessary most of the time. But after certain efforts, when having a sensible meal after isn't possible, I think it does help with a certain amount of recovery. But I have found, more than a few times that if I finished training with a pint of this, the next day, legs felt better than they would usually. I still wonder if it's psychosomatic, so don't use religiously, and prefer real food, but right now, it works enough for me to still buy more. I have taken sachets with me on multi-day bike rides, with a mini-whisk, as emergency recovery if day is more headwind that I planned for, and find legs feel better than expected next day. Flavour-wise, the chocolate was absolute horrible... just like trying to drink wall-paper paste or something. But the Strawberry is drink-able so far. If it hadn't been for feeling definite difference in leg recovery, I might never have bothered trying a different flavour. Going to give banana a try for a change. Find easiest to prepare by putting a little water in bottom of pint glass, then required spoonfuls of powder, then taking a mini whisk to quickly beat to a paste before gradually adding more water and whisking until it's a pint, that way not get stuff stuck to glass, and no lumps. Never seen anyone have lump/clump free experience using any of those shakers. Just use one of those mini-whisks that are good for salad dressing, etc. Works great!
