Review: I bought these, principally, for their advertised waterproof qualities. I can't speak to that claim because I have yet to wear them in wet conditions. I have worn them now five times and, having been uncomfortably from the start, they have become progressively more uncomfortable. I have persevered because I am aware that, at times, new shoes take a while to bed down, so to speak. They are, however, now at the point of actually hurting both feet on both the top and the sole of each foot. I'll start with the soles of my feet. I have never worn shoes in which the insoles gradually move towards the back of the shoes until, in this case, the front end of each insole ends up around the bottom of the ball of my foot and the back of the insole of each shoe ends up around the middle of my achilles tendons by the 18th hole. Very uncomfortable indeed and, frankly, unacceptable in terms if shoe design. Moving on to the tops of both feet: after this afternoon's game of golf (it's still allowed in Scotland; Jan 2021) my right foot is currently swollen and painful on the top part just to the left of where the laces are. The same has happened to my left foot but, this time to the right of where the laces are. There is pain, also on both feet, at the point where the shoes sit just below the outer ankle bone. However, I have a round of golf in the morning and I think I would be better off wearing slippers. It wouldn't improve my golf and, if it rains, my feet will get wet. But, at least my feet wouldn't be sore before I even take a step. Having worn them 5 times, I can't send them back. But what is the point if the shoe design causes damage to both feet and the maker can't design an insole that stays put. If it were possible to give 0 stars for comfort, that is what I'd have given them. And, while not the most expensive on the market, at £80 the pair, they're not cheap either. I can see them living the rest of their lives on a shelf in the garage.
