Review: As with all my reviews I would just like to point out that I purchased this myself after shopping around and making an informed decision. I am not a member of any review program. This Topeak Roadie TT pump is very nicely made (out of alloy) and has a fine knurled surface to aid grip. It pumps up my 700x28c tyres with relative ease for a mini pump (never going to replace a track pump or compressor). I have only one negative comment to make about it which is easily rectified and described in detail below. The Good: • Very nicely made product with knurled grippy surface. • Very quick and easy to pump my 700x28c tyres up to full running pressure (for me this is 100psi rear and 90psi front). Yes you will need to maybe pump 150 times or so but it does it with ease and will get you home. It’s never going to beat a proper track pump like I use in my garage before each ride. • As long as you have working arms you will have a constant supply of air unlike CO2 inflators / bottles. • Comes with 2 long bottle cage bolts for fixing the bracket onto your bike. • Sturdy pump and bracket. • Dust cover to protect the pump. • Locks onto the valve to make a great seal. • Pump head twists to lock itself closed when not in use (means it won’t open up as you ride). • The black alloy matches perfectly with the black alloy finish on my Cube bike. • Not too heavy for an all metal pump. • If not bike mounted you could drop it into a jersey pocket with ease. • Accurate sizing on the Amazon advert (also matches the Topeak website details). The pump is a nice size but if you want smaller there is a 165mm Mini version which has a smaller cubic capacity (will take longer to pump up). The Bad: • The locking lever rattles ever so slightly against the pump body. I resolved this with a small black ‘O’ ring seal around the body. The pump actually had a slight recess in the head which the ‘O’ ring naturally sat in and cushioned the lever from rattling. It is now rattle free and the ‘O’ ring looks like it came as part of the pump (see picture of the pump head). If you are wondering the ‘O’ ring I used came from a £1.99 set from Lidl.

Review: Good micro pump. Able to get decent road pressure without giving yourself an aneurysm . Only minor gripe is that the rubber cover/plug doesn't stay shut - I've used a small rubber band to keep it in place.
