Review: These spin-lock collars will come undone immediately if you spin the dumbell quickly, so I don't recommend for explosive/plyometric training. Seems fine for normal isotonic and hypertrophy training, like bicep curls done at a tempo of 1 sec up and 3 secs down. Just don't cheat the weight by swinging up too quickly and you should be fine. Works well for me.
