Review: This is review is for a 28mm tubeless tire (Vittoria Corsa Control G2.0 Road Competition TLR 700x28c Tire, Full Black) that I attempted to mount to a Roval CLX 32 rim. I have extensive road tubeless experience since Hutchinson introduced the first road tubeless tire in 2006 with 100 tires of numerous brands and over 100,000 miles. I ride tubeless exclusively on and off-road and consider myself an expert. This tire was the easiest to mount but most difficult to inflate of any I can remember. In addition to a loose, large-diameter bead the sidewall is very flexible and the tire is flat compared to others that have U-shaped contour. After some frustration, I decided to return, mostly because I was unable to mount but also because of fear that if I was "successful" the loose fit could cause a catastrophic failure when the tire blew off the rim.
