Review: I have these on my bike and my wife's bike, and I know a local bike shop that has them on their rental road bikes. These tires are an excellent value for the cost in my opinion.

Review: I bought this Vittoria 700x25c tire because I have them on another bike a Pinarello road that has the factory 700x25c's on it. I was buying this tire for another old road bike of mine. The size is not correct. The sidewall says 700x25c but in reality, the tires are a full 1/8 of an inch short on width. 25mm translates into one inch but these come in at 7/8 of an inch at best. They look like the old 700x20c's I used to run back in the day. Ok, I can deal with that but there is another problem, the diameter. The inside diameter is correct as they do fit on the rim. The problem is the outside diameter at almost a full 1/4 less than they should be. In other words after 6 miles of riding I picked up a 1/10th of a mile since the tire revolutions is greater due to less diameter. Why is 700x25c not 700x25c? I have another tire a Michelin on anther bike a 700x25c that is correct in diameter but not in width. This tire came from Bike Nashbar not Amazon. The tire other than being whatever size the manufacturer deems they will be that day are rideable, but I am not happy.
